My daughter loved her Shamrock Hair Elastic so much that she has requested one for every holiday. She would really prefer to have a different one for every day of the year, but that will take us some time to finish. For Easter I decided to make her a bunny hair elastic. At first she told me she wanted one with a fluffy white bunny tail. As soon as I finished the pom pom for it, she told me “I think I want one with a face instead.” I put a face on one for her, but since I already had a bunny tail made I decided to make a second hair elastic for her. She was thrilled!

There are two options for finishing the bunny. To make the forward facing bunny, sew eyes and nose on with black yarn.

For the bunny tail option, create a small white pom pom and sew it to the bottom circle.

Sew the bunny to a hair elastic.

Both versions of this bunny are adorable. We have had trouble figuring out which is our favorite. She wore the one with the face to school today, and is planning to wear the other one tomorrow to see which one her friends like the best.
