My family loves hiking and looking for mushrooms. I have started to crochet some of the mushrooms that we have found and identified. Our most recent find was some Giant Puffballs that popped up in our front yard this year. The kids loved these mushrooms because they get huge. Many of them were the size of my daughter’s head. We decided that the next mushroom in my collection should be a crochet giant puffball.
This pattern isn’t complicated, since these mushrooms are a giant ball with a very short stem. For this project I used a 5mm crochet hook and Red Heart Super Saver yarn
