With the solar eclipse coming up soon, we thought it would be fun to create some solar eclipse themed projects. It will probably still be cool when we are standing outside to watch it, so I decided to make my daughter a solar eclipse scarf to wear.
This scarf is a fairly easy project that is made using only three colors of yarn. There is still plenty of time to get one made before the upcoming eclipse.
For this project I used a 6 mm crochet hook and Big Twist Value yarn. I have included both a written pattern and a graph for this project.
This scarf is a great length for a child If you need to make this scarf longer I would recommend adding more rows of blue between each of the suns to reach your desired length.
Solar Eclipse Scarf
