Lately I have been working on creating some quick little projects for the summer, since we don’t really want more blankets, scarves, and hats right now. I wanted to take a break from hair accessories, and decided to start working on keychains. This first design is for a crochet sushi keychain.
This is a very easy project, and takes almost no time to make. For this project I used Big Twist Value yarn, and some keychain rings that I bought on Amazon.
Crochet Sushi Keychain
Materials: 4.5 mm crochet hook
Sushi Halves (make 2)
(in red) start with a magic ring
Round 1: 6 sc inside ring, (in white) sl st to first sc, ch 1
Round 2: 2 sc in each stitch around (12) sl st to first stitch, ch 1
Round 3: (2 sc in first stitch, sc in next stitch) repeat around (18), (in green) sl st to first stitch, ch 1
Round 4: sc in each stitch around (18), sl st to first stitch, ch 1
Round 5: sc in each stitch around (18), sl st to first stitch, fasten off leaving a tail for sewing.
To finish, sew the two sushi halves together adding a small amount of stuffing.
Sew the keychain to the top of the sushi.
That’s it! I hope you enjoyed this crochet sushi keychain pattern. I have a lot more key rings, so I am planning to make a few more keychain patterns.
If there is any keychain designs you would like to see me create please let me know in the comments, or on social media.
