My daughter had a read a thon at her school recently. They get to bring pillows and stuffed animals to cuddle with while they read. Since all of her pillows were kind of boring we decided this was the perfect time to make her a new one. I asked her what she wanted, and she told me to make her a crochet cat pillow.
This is an easy pattern. The pillow is made of single crochet stitches, with single crochet decrease stitches on the ears. I am providing both the chart for the cat face of the pillow, and written directions. Follow which ever one is the easiest for you.
I made this project using Big Twist Value yarn and a 6mm crochet hook. It can be made with any brand of yarn you prefer.

My daughter loves her new crochet cat pillow. She was very excited to take it to school, and said that all of her friends loved it!
