Since Halloween is coming up soon, we decided to make a costume for the cats. My daughter and I have crochet witch hats that I made a few years ago. We decided that a crochet witch hat for cats would be a great Halloween project!
This pattern is not much more difficult than some of my other cat hats. You will start by crocheting a cone for the top of the hat. After that you will make the ear holes and the brim by continuing to work in the round. The band is a rectangle that is crocheted separately and sewn on.
For this project I used a 5.0mm crochet hook and red heart super saver yarn. If you need to adjust this pattern to fit your cat I would recommend using a larger or smaller crochet hook to slightly alter the size.
