Holly Ornament

It’s getting close to Christmas so I decided that I needed to create a new ornament for our tree. I love having our tree decorated with homemade ornaments. Between the kids and I we have a lot of them on ours.

Today I want to teach you how to make this holly ornament. It is simple and takes very little time to make.

Holly Ornament

                    Green yarn

                    Red Beads

                    Yarn needle

Row 5: working on opposite side of chain, sl st in first ch, sc, (hdc, dc, ch 2, sl st in first ch, dc, hdc, sc) repeat 3 times, sl st in last st

Fasten off

To finish the ornament, sew the two leaves together and sew the three red beads to the front.

That is all there is to it. This ornament looks great hanging on a tree, but can also be used as a decoration on Christmas presents. With as easy as these are to make it will be easy to make a bunch to hand out to friends and family.
