Crochet Donut Hair Tie

Today is National Donut Day! Of course we had to celebrate with a crochet donut hair tie. This cute hair accessory is the perfect thing to wear today.

This is a very simple pattern. It is very quick to make, and is another project that can be made with leftover scraps of yarn. We made a donut with pink frosting and sprinkles because that is my daughter’s favorite. You could substitute any colors of yarn to make your favorite donuts.

Use the white yarn to stitch sprinkles onto the pink circle.

Sew the pink circle to the tan circle.

Sew a hair elastic to the donut.

We loved how this crochet donut hair tie turned out! With the hot weather we are having, my daughter wants her long hair pulled back out of her face. This hair tie is an adorable way to dress up the normal pony tail. I hope you enjoy this hair tie as much as we do!
