My children love fidget toys, and are constantly asking me to buy them. I thought that it would be fun to attempt to make some fidget toys of my own. This crochet marble fidget toy is my first attempt. After making the first one for my son, my daughter instantly wanted one of her own.
This project is very easy and doesn’t use a lot of yarn. For this project all you are really doing is crocheting a rectangle, folding it in half, and sewing along the edges. The rectangle could be made using any stitch you prefer. My son requested that it have some texture to it, so I chose to use the front post single crochet, and back post single crochet.
For this project I used a 4.5mm crochet hook and Red Heart Super Saver yarn.

My children love these crochet marble fidget toys. I love that these are a quiet fidget toy, so I don’t have to constantly hear clicking and popping sounds like so many fidget toys on the market. Since these are so quiet they would work well for children who need to have a fidget toy to help them concentrate in school.
Thanks for sharing this. I have been looking for some fidget toys to make for a craft fair.
So I guess with this one, they simply move the marble back and forth inside the tube?
Thanks again!
Yes, they squeeze and push the marble back and forth in this toy. My son also likes the texture of this one to feel while playing with the marble.
My kids love these things. I think it’s very clever to crochet them because then you have a whole new level of squish.
