Lucky Four Leaf Clover Bookmark

We have a ton of clovers growing in our yard. When we play outside, my kids love to search for four leaf clovers. Whenever they find one they get so excited about their good luck. In the past we have pressed the clovers to save them, but they always end up lost because we don’t know what to do with them. Today I got the idea to laminate them onto lucky four leaf clover bookmarks. Now they can keep their clovers with them, in whichever book they are reading at the moment.

For this four leaf clover bookmark project you will need cardstock cut in 7X2 in strips, four leaf clovers, markers, a laminator, and a laminating sheet. If you don’t have a laminator you could make this project using two pieces of clear contact paper.

First, give the kids each a strip of cardstock and let them draw whatever they want with the markers.

Once they have finished coloring the bookmarks, place them on the laminating sheet and have them place the clover where they want it to be on the bookmark.

Once they are happy with the clover placement on the bookmark, close the laminating sheet and run it through the laminator.

After the bookmarks are laminated, cut them out.

Your lucky four leaf clover bookmarks are finished! Now the only thing left to do is find a good book to read with them.

I hope you enjoy this craft as much as my children did. They are always happy to use something that they have made by themselves.
