Today I decided to make my daughter a new Animal Crossing themed toy We recently discovered the pitfall seeds in our game, and I thought that she would enjoy having a pitfall seed to play with.

Materials: White yarn
Red yarn
5mm crochet hook
Yarn needle
Pitfall Seed Base (make 2)
Round 1: Magic ring, 6 sc in magic ring, sl st to first sc, ch 1
Round 2: 2 sc in each st around (12), sl st to first sc, ch 1
Round 3: *2 sc in first st, 1 sc in next* repeat around (18), sl st to first sc, ch 1
Round 4: *2 sc in first st, 1 sc in next 2 st* repeat around (24), sl st to first sc, ch 1
Round 5: *2 sc in first st, 1 sc in next 3 st* repeat around (30), sl st to first sc, ch 1
Round 6: *2 sc in first st, 1 sc in next 4 st* repeat around (36), sl st to first sc, ch 1
Round 7: *2 sc in first st, 1 sc in next 5 st* repeat around (42), sl st to first sc, ch 1
Round 8: *2 sc in first st, 1 sc in next 6 st* repeat around (48), sl st to first sc, ch 1
Round 9: *2 sc in first st, 1 sc in next 7 st* repeat around (54), sl st to first sc, ch 1
Round 10: *2 sc in first st, 1 sc in next 8 st* repeat around (60), sl st to first sc, ch 1
Round 11: *2 sc in first st, 1 sc in next 9 st* repeat around (66), sl st to first sc, ch 1
Rounds 12-13: sc in each stitch around
Finish off leaving a long tail on one for sewing

Circle
Round 1: Magic ring, 10 sc in ring, sl st to first st, finish off leaving tail for sewing

Exclamation Mark
Row 1: Chain 11
Row 2: sc in first 5 chains, hdc in next 3 chains, dc in next chain, 4 dc in last chain
Row 3: Work this row on the other side of the chain. 4 dc in first chain, dc in next chain, hdc in next 3 chains, sc in final 5 chains
Finish off leaving a long tail for sewing.



Sew the exclamation mark and the circle onto one of the base pieces. Sew the base pieces together and stuff.

You are finished. My daughter was very happy to have a pitfall seed to go along with her fossil that I made for her before.
