My daughter loves all of her fun scarves that I make for her to wear during the winter months. This winter she decided that a snowman pocket scarf would be fun. It took a little longer than I had planned to get this pattern finished, but she is excited to have it before winter is over.
This is a fairly simple pattern. It is made a lot like my Black Cat Pocket Scarf. The size on this project can easily be adapted. Add or subtract rows of hdc from the scarf to make it larger or smaller. If you need the pockets to be larger, just add more rows around the snowman’s head.
For this project I used Big Twist Value yarn and a 6 mm crochet hook.

Sew the nose and eyes to each snowman head. Then stitch a mouth onto the snowman’s face. Sew a snowman face onto each end of the scarf, leaving the top open to create the pockets.
We loved how cute this scarf turned out. It would look great with my Snowman Hat.
This is so cute. The little snowman faces make the whole project.
I love that the snowman face is a pocket! This is precious!
