With kids starting high school and middle school this year, we have been extremely busy. I haven’t had much time for working on crochet patterns. However, I couldn’t let Halloween go by without creating something new! This crochet spider scrunchie is a great last minute Halloween crochet project.
This is a very simple project, that won’t take long to make. I used Big Twist Value yarn and a 6 mm crochet hook to make mine. Feel free to substitute with whatever brand of yarn you prefer to use.

My daughter didn’t know I was working on this pattern, so I was able to surprise her with this crochet spider scrunchie when she got home from school. She loved it and was very excited to take pictures with it for me.
I may not have had the time to do a lot of Halloween crocheting this year, but this one was a success. Hopefully next year I get to more of the projects on my very long list!
