My daughter loves scrunchies. She is always asking me to make her new and different scrunchies to wear. We decided that a crochet sushi scrunchie would be a really fun addition to her collection.
This scrunchie is very easy to make. It is made a lot like my Single Crochet Scrunchie.
For this pattern I used a 5.5 mm crochet hook and Big Twist Value yarn.

Fold the rectangle in half and sew across the long side to make a tube.
Insert the elastic through the tube and tie the ends together. Then sew the short ends of the scrunchie together to hide the elastic and finish the scrunchie.
My daughter was thrilled with how this scrunchie turned out. It is so cute and makes a great addition to her collection.
